After a slightly hectic night of last-minute packing, I have finally left for my German adventure. I got to Toronto around midnight and so far have been loving the people here. (I didn't think I would actually hear "eh" and "doncha know" so much.)
The airport had this awesome wall at the baggage claim - a sort of blueprint perspective drawing which falsely extended the room.
well, will try again. Yes that looks just like it did many years ago, when Science Fair was in Hamilton. We were coming home, and customs asked where my luggage was, I told them I did not know, the kids took it. I was so sick, all I wanted to do was get warm and sleep. Get home to find out that I had pneumonia.
ReplyDeleteEd raced last weekend at the new track out by Byers, off of I 70 east of Denver. It is is great track, and he had some great times, and also had a good time. The track is full of corners, and hills.
I am going to Katlin's graduation party tomorrow for awhile. I know that Mom told you that she placed first, I am not sure why, but guess we will take it. Of course RC really gobbled up that whole thing. Then Erick Schnaderbeck got the Stockholm Water award for the state of Colorado and that trip is to Anchorage, so quess who is planning that one now also, and now her husband is also going.
So what did you see in Toronto? Where all will you be in Germany. I hope that you go sightseeing as much as possilbe. Be good, and stay out of trouble, okay?
love ya, lucy
