Walking around yesterday, I saw some pretty cool buildings, flowers, and artworks so I figured I should share a few. One of the funnier things was a bar named "Im Eimer" near some of the student dorms. The meaning? "In the bucket".
There was also this great old telephone booth, which was surprising since we didn't realize the Ministry of Magic had an Aachen division. (Harry Potter reference, just in case you wonder).
Some of the many really beautiful flowers and plants around here:

An amazingly detailed bass relief:

But probably one of the best sights is the entrance to the Lindt Werksverkauf, the grocery-store sized chocolate outlet next to the factory here in Aachen. I've been there twice now, but luckily didn't take much money most recently since I had walked out with a backpack full of chocolate before. They have every flavor imaginable and huge quantities for what sometimes seem like impossible prices. I have so far come out with chili-pomegranate, black current, mousse, and 'assorted specialties' flavors.
